Learn the order of events.
We shouldn't have anyone miss an event at a swim meet. Veterans should help make sure rookies report for their event early, rather than late. Rookies should have a good idea of the order of events by now.
Most pools list school records in order, so when you're in doubt - look up at the record boards!
